Employment & Benefits
ZAG/S&W's employment & benefits attorneys combine sophisticated techniques with years of experience to help employers develop employment and benefit policies and programs that best fit the needs of their employees. Our team works with employers to formulate practical solutions to a broad range of employment-related problems and help fit compensation and benefit packages into the larger picture, while maximizing the impact of benefit dollars. Our lawyers regularly work with clients on employment discrimination; sexual harassment; employee discipline and discharge; handbooks and policy development; executive contracts; on-site training for managers and employees; and designing and implementing all forms of retirement, welfare, fringe benefit, deferred compensation, and equity compensation plans, in addition to working with individuals on compensation and severance packages and retirement planning. We also regularly advise clients on employee versus independent contractor classification issues.
