Susan M. Barnard is co-director of ZAG/S&W's Corporate Department and a member of the firm's Management Committee. Ms. Barnard represents public and private companies with respect to matters involving securities law, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law.  

Representative Client Work

  • Represented a publicly held company in the vehicle recovery technology business in its acquisition of the stock of a Canadian public company for cash and exchangeable shares
  • Represented a privately held dairy company in its acquisition of 12 dairy holding and operating companies located in multiple states for cash and securities
  • Represented a privately held global strategy consulting firm in its acquisitions of the assets of several domestic and international consulting businesses
  • Represented various domestic and foreign issuers in private placements of debt and equity securities with aggregate offering proceeds in excess of $1 billion
