Spearheaded by the firm’s co-founding partner Erez Aharoni, our Real Estate department enjoys a long and successful track record in advising developers, contractors, private land owners, architects, purchase groups and investors, throughout all stages of real estate transactions, including combination transactions, sale, lease, rent, land exchange, TAMA 38 projects, construction, urban renewal projects and much more.
We are also widely recognized for our particular expertise with regards to real estate administered by the Israel Land Authority (ILA), including transactions vis-à-vis the ILA, land belonging to communal and cooperative settlements (Kibbutzes and Moshavs), and the intake of new residents in agricultural settlements. We also handle the rezoning of agricultural land, change of designation and land expropriation. This expertise taps into our understanding of and close relationships with key third parties such as the Jewish Agency, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and other government ministries.
Clients confidently trust our proven track record and decades of experience in accompanying a project from start to finish. From the earliest stages of the project, examining its feasibility and initial design, to representing developers before various planning committees, and executing the transaction and completing the project, ZAG-S&W leaves no stone unturned for our loyal roster.
We provide ongoing practical legal advice on all aspects related to planning and building such as permits, plans, writs and feasibility of new projects.
